Is there static in the headphones?
Action:
Plug headphones into the speaker jack on the sound card.
1) Obtain headphones that you would use with a Walkman or connect to a stereo system.
2) Take the speaker plug out of the speaker outlet on the back of the computer. (Remember where it came from.)
3) Plug the headphones into the same outlet that the speakers were plugged into.
